About Peaks Coaching Group:

Started in 1996 by our owner, Hunter Allen,  PCG has led the way in training for over 25 years.  One of the very first online cycling coaching businesses, Hunter set out to create a coaching business because he did not have a coach when he was a professional rider and always thought he lost 2-3 years of his career to “hit and miss” and “trial and error” self-coaching.    After retiring from pro cycling, Hunter launched the first ever online cycling coaching business which was originally called “CyclingPeaks”.    Since then, we have grown to a close group of coaches in the USA and around the world with affiliates in Brazil, Germany, Japan and Iceland.

We pride ourselves in taking a personal approach to coaching and the athlete-coach relationship. Our goal is to provide expert-level coaching, consulting, and gear to athletes of all abilities and levels.

Peaks Coaching Group is a group of collegial coaches that has been built around the success of Hunter Allen and the “Principles of Training with Power”.  All our coaches have been hand-picked by Hunter, coached and mentored by him, going through our rigorous training before becoming a coach here at PCG.  Hunter continues to lead the industry with his vision of training and innovation.  The diversity here at PCG gives PCG a unique opportunity to coach riders in every discipline in cycling and triathlon from RAAM to Cyclo-Cross to Masters Road racers to Gran Fondo riders to riders just wanting to improve their health, longevity and vitality.
